Internal Medicine Job In South Burlington, Vermont
Locums Primary Care and Adult Infusion Services Nurse Practitioner
We are
seeking a Locums Primary Care and Adult Infusion Services Nurse Practitioner to
provide clinical care and supervision at an ambulatory infusion center in South
Burlington, VT. This role involves overseeing a 5-chair infusion center with a
full complement of registered nurses (RNs), support staff, and onsite nursing
leadership.
The Nurse
Practitioner will work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with
scheduled administrative time. The position involves supervising the infusion
center's daily operations, managing patient care, and coordinating with the
nursing team to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained. The Nurse
Practitioner will oversee up to 6 patients per day, ensuring safe and effective
treatment in the infusion center. The role also includes being on-call as
required to address patient and staff needs.
Requirements:
- Fellowship
training or equivalent experience in primary care and adult infusion
services.
- Current BLS
certification.
- Strong
leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to
work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment.
