Job Summary:
HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is looking for a Chief CRNA who is passionate about high quality patient care and leading a team focused on excellence, at our HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, Florida. As the Chief CRNA, you will be responsible for supporting and supervising a dedicated group of 24 anesthesia professionals that perform at top of license. This role is instrumental in aligning facility goals with divisional objectives while ensuring optimal patient care delivery. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ of leadership experience.Responsibilities:
- Foster strong communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
- Develop continuous performance improvement and risk management programs.
- Ensure compliance with licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements.
- Lead educational initiatives to meet APP continuing education needs.
- Maintain efficient perioperative workflow and oversee scheduling.
- Collaborate with leadership to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
- Supervise and evaluate staff APPs, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Oversee recruitment efforts for quality APPs in collaboration with recruitment teams.
- Maintain readiness for regulatory inspections and evaluations.
- Anesthesia care team model of 11 anesthesiologists and 24 CRNAs
- Case mix includes general, ortho, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, OB, GI, endo
- Flexible scheduling: 8s, 10s, 12s, 16s and OB 24s
- No call requirement with minimal weekends
- CRNAs are able to do A-lines, push own meds and perform some PNBs with demonstrated proficiency. Cardiac work available if desired.
- Outstanding compensation package includes tiered base salary. Additional $30K geographic stipend. $15K stipend if cardiac proficient.
- Start date bonus up to $75K and relocation assistance available
- 8 weeks of time away from practice with no waiting period.
- Premium pay rate if clinician works past scheduled shift. Premium rate applies if clinician opts to pick-up extra shifts.

Oak Hill Hospital opened in 1984 and is a 204 bed full service, acute care facility, serving Hernando County - Area population: 130,000. Hernando County's largest hospital, with the only accredited cancer program in a 6 county region, affiliated with Shands Healthcare and the University of Florida Shands Cancer Center.
In Fall 2003 we completed expansion of our Emergency Department which included an addition of 12 treatment rooms, bringing the total to 29 and we added a new X-ray facility and separate entrances for ambulances and the public. Additionally, our Quick Care Unit, which handles less severe emergencies, was expanded.
