**Why This Role?**
- Level 1 trauma call coverage at a well-supported hospital
- Ongoing monthly need with 24-hour call shifts
- Neuro IR available in-house for added procedural support
- Epic EMR and travel accommodations provided
**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: August 27, 2025 at 7:00 AM
- End Date: September 3, 2025 at 7:00 AM (initial coverage block)
- Coverage Type: Call Only
- Schedule: 1 week/month, 24-hour call
- EMR: Epic
- Call Back: Required
- Lodging: Up to $150/night standard/economy
**Clinical Details**
- Adult and geriatric emergency neurosurgery cases via ED
- Trauma Level: 1
- Avg 1 2 emergent surgical cases per day
- Team: 1 employed neurosurgeon + 1 non-employed
- Setting: Inpatient hospital
**Requirements**
- Board certified in Neurosurgery
- Active OH license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Must be fully available Aug 27 Sept 3 to be considered
- Clean credentialing history preferred
**Skills Needed**
- Brain bleed stoppage, clot and tumor removal
- Trauma repair, shunt insertion/revision
- Spine stabilization and reconstruction
- Vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, spinal fusion
- Laminectomy and diskectomy
