PATIENT INFORMATION
- Patient Demographics: Adult and Geriatric (ED and inpatient cases)

- Case Mix: Plain Film (PF), CT, and Ultrasound; emergent brain MRI only

- Office Equipment Available: PACS and workstation provided by facility
- Specialty Backup Available: On-site Interventional Radiologists
- Support Staff Available: Technical and administrative radiology support
- Reason for Coverage: Ongoing staffing need for additional radiology coverage through Klamath Radiology Associates, P.C.
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
- Credentialing Timeline: 23 months depending on number of licenses and affiliations
- Other Compliance Notes: Providers aged 65+ must complete physical and mental competency exams per hospital bylaws
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- All Hours Billable: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- Interpret ED and inpatient imaging studies (CT, PF, US, and emergent MRI brain exams)
- Provide timely reads with a 30-minute turnaround for ER exams
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Oregon license or willing to obtain
- Board: ABR Certified Radiologist (Board Certification required)
- DEA: Not required
- Experience: No minimum required (must provide 24 months of case logs for credentialing)
- Other Qualifications: Commitment to long-term/ongoing assignment; must integrate with client's existing radiology team
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide remote diagnostic imaging interpretations for ED and inpatient cases
- Maintain turnaround times of 30 minutes for ER exams
- Read approximately 6065 studies per shift (CT, PF, and Ultrasound)
- Collaborate with on-site radiologists and residents as applicable
- Utilize Sectra PACS and Fluency VR systems for reads
- Participate in credentialing and onboarding as required by Sky Lakes Medical Center
- Support long-term radiology coverage with emphasis on continuity of care and collaboration
