We are seeking a Board-Certified General Surgery Physician to provide locum coverage in Grayling, Michigan. This hospital-based assignment offers 24-hour call coverage and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, well-equipped surgical environment.
Assignment Details:
- Dates: November 27–30, 2025
- Shift Type: 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
- Weekend Requirements: Yes
- On-Call Requirements: Yes
- Setting: Hospital-based coverage
- Average Surgical Volume: 1–2 cases per day
- Number of Operating Rooms: 3
- EMR System: Cerner
Procedures Include:
- General surgical cases (adult, trauma, and pediatric)
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in General Surgery
- Active Michigan Medical License
- ACLS Certification (AHA issued)
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Recent experience with general surgery procedures (within the past 2 years)
