Locums Plastic Surgery Physician

We are seeking an experienced Locums Plastic Surgery Physician to join a well-established surgical team in Troy, Michigan. This is a full-time locum tenens opportunity offering a balanced schedule of clinic, operative, and call responsibilities in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.

 

Position Details:

 

• Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient / Hospital-based and Clinic
• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Patient Contact Hours: 36 hours per week
• Procedure/OR Days: 2–4 days per week
• Call Rotation: Shared rotation for soft tissue and clinic call (includes EMTALA coverage)
• Weekend Requirements: As needed

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

• Provide trauma call coverage and perform emergency department consults.
• Conduct in-office consultations and perform a variety of plastic and reconstructive procedures.
• Collaborate with breast surgeons and other specialists on reconstructive cases.
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate surgical care in both acute and elective settings.

 

Requirements:

 

• Board Certified in Plastic Surgery
• Active Michigan License or Active IMLC license (LOQ required at name clear)
• Must be experienced in trauma and reconstructive plastic surgery
