Locums Urgent Care Physician

We are seeking an experienced Locums Urgent Care Physician to provide high-quality care in a busy, well-established urgent care clinic in Lady Lake, Florida. This role is ideal for a physician with strong clinical skills, the ability to manage a wide range of acute conditions, and comfort treating pediatric patients 3 months and older.

 

Position Details

 

• Schedule: Clinic open 7 days a week, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Setting: Urgent Care – high-volume, fast-paced environment
• EMR: EClinicalWorks
• Local candidates only

 

Responsibilities

 

• Provide comprehensive acute care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics (3+ months).
• Diagnose and treat urgent illnesses and minor injuries.
• Perform urgent care–related procedures as needed.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, X-ray if available).
• Manage patient flow efficiently in a walk-in setting.
• Document all encounters in EClinicalWorks EMR.
• Collaborate with clinical support staff to ensure safe, timely care.

 

Requirements

 

• Board Certified in:
• Family Medicine
• Emergency Medicine
• Med-Peds
• 3–6 years of experience in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care.
• Experience caring for pediatric patients as young as 3 months.
• Active Florida medical license and DEA.
