Hospital Medicine Director near Atlanta
Envision Physician Services and Piedmont Newton Hospital are seeking an Hospital Medicine Medical Director to join our team located in Covington, Georgia, in the greater Atlanta area.
Hospital Medicine Program Features:
- 97-Bed hospital
- Block schedule
- 60 hours physician coverage daily (3 docs 7a-7p; 1 mid doc 10a-10p; 1 night doc 7p-7a)
- APP coverage from 2-12midnight, M-F
- No ICU
- Emergency Medicine and Hospital Medicine managed by Envision - provides exceptional synergy between the Emergency and Hospital Medicine Departments
- Qualified candidates must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine with 1 year leadership experience
This position includes clinical as well as a leadership component. The right candidate will have experience leading a smart and highly competent team that achieves excellent patient satisfaction scores. This hospitalist program is virtually fully staffed with both day and night providers and a dedicated scheduler.
As Medical Director, this position pays a generous clinical hourly as well as a monthly director stipend with quality bonus, and a team RVU bonus, and the compensation package comes with a comprehensive benefits package, sign on bonus, relocation, 401k with matching funds and paid malpractice insurance and tail coverage.
