Type: Locum Tenens — Clinical only
Reason: Vacancy (long-term permanent search)
Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Scope of Practice:
- Specialty: General Surgery (PA)
- Patient population: 80% adults
- Case mix: ~5 surgeries per shift; 20% trauma
- Procedures: surgical care and suturing
- Support: 2 APPs on unit; 20 physicians in practice
- Onsite lab and X-ray
- EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Active CA license
- Board certified/board eligible
- DEA registration
- BLS and ACLS
- General surgery and OR experience required
Logistics:
- Temporary privileges available
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided
