Job Description
A behavioral health facility in Mansfield Center, CT seeks a Connecticut-licensed Nurse Practitioner for a full-time, ongoing locum assignment starting ASAP. Weekday schedule; inpatient multidisciplinary team; 56-bed unit.

- Average patient volume: 10–12 patients/day
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide medical oversight for psychiatric inpatients
- Perform admission and annual physical examinations
- Evaluate and manage common medical conditions in the behavioral health population
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests; coordinate specialty referrals
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, therapists, and other clinicians
- Monitor patients for medical concerns and ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical record documentation
- Ensure compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Connecticut Nurse Practitioner license required
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred
