Job Description
Join an established behavioral health program in Mansfield Center, CT, providing outpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents with a broad range of mental health conditions.
Position details
- Setting: Outpatient
- Daily patient volume: ~10–12
- Discharges: ≥2 per day
- Program size: 28 beds
- Patient population: Children and adolescents with all mental health diagnoses
- Care model: Multidisciplinary team
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans
- Coordinate care with therapists, nursing staff, and other providers
- Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Willing to practice in an outpatient setting
- Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
