Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity in Loxahatchee, Florida (West Palm Beach area)
Envision Physician Services is seeking Full-Time Emergency Medicine Physicians to become part of our prestigious practice at Palms West Hospital located in Wellington, Florida. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible via the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM) with current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) AND Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). This is a very stable and well respected EM group and offers the right professional a unique opportunity for diverse practice experience.
The Department features -
- Total combined volume of 54,000 patient visits/yr (36K Main ER; 18K Peds ER)
- Palms West features a 14-bed ED and sees approximately 34,000 patients per year. (Avg. 92 patients/day)
- Admit Rate 15-20%
- Physicians coverage allowing for a comfortable PPH of 2.16
- Separate 10-bed Peds ED treating 18,000 patients per year staffed with Dedicated PEM Physicians
