Orthopedic group in central Virginia recruiting for a PMR Pain provider. The group has 11 orthopedic surgeons, currently 2 pmr-pain mgt, 1 rheumatologist, 2 pcp sports physicians and other midlevels, and pt, athletic trainers etc. They are looking for someone that can do interventional pain procedures, and see patients in office as well. Ideally they would like to have someone that can do EMGs as well, but that is not required. If someone would do emgs they would need that person to be BC for EMG. They have both an in-house pain suite where they do lumbar without sedation, and an ASC which is a few steps from the office. They do not have anyone that can do pumps and stimulators, and that would be welcome, but not required. The town is a beautiful community in the foothills of the mountains, and has a draw population of over 200,000. Several colleges are located there. It is a family oriented community. They are a few hours drive from the ocean, and to Washington, DC. EMR and PAC systems assist in providing the best in patient care. New facility houses MRI (recumbent and stand up) and comprehensive therapy services as well as all other traditional MSK ancillaries. Beautiful area with limitless recreational opportunities.
Competitive compensation package offered with productivity element.

Med Staff Matters, LLC recruits physicians and mid-levels for our clients’ organizations throughout the United States. We serve the needs of solo and group practices, hospitals, Home Health organizations, specialty hospitals and community based programs. We attribute our success to being in the business long enough to realistically assess the likelihood of satisfactory completion of the recruitment process. We are able to filter through the niceties of interviewing to find out what the issues, and obstacles are to successful recruitment. We understand that wasting time for the sake of being engaged with a client or candidate is not going to help anyone achieve their goals.
We recruit almost all specialties, and Primary Care as well. We also respond quickly to employer requests to recruit a specialist even if we do not have any interested candidates on hand.
We focus on trying to make a match based on the mutual interests and needs of both candidate and employer. The goal is to make a lasting match, rather than throwing a deal together for a short term gain. This ethic has resulted in the need for only six replacements of candidates during the guarantee period in over two decades of contingency recruiting.
Med Staff Matters... because matching the right physician to the right opportunity is of the utmost importance!
