Additionally, will be responsible for enrolling and assisting patients in research trials that involve the use of various technologies.MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONSEducation:- Prefer a Bachelor¿s degree in healthcare or IT related field.Experience:- Must have minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting. - Must have minimum of one year of experience working with clients in technical support role.- Strongly preferred to have research experience.Equivalent Experience:- May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements. Certification/Registration/Licensure:- Must have any certifications required for specific types of training.Skills or Special Abilities:- Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of hospital staff, medical staff, and patients.- Strongly preferred bilingual (Spanish). - Must successfully pass the Spanish Language Oral Skills Assessment examination prior to employment. - Must be able to demonstrate respect for patient confidentiality. - Must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate and work well with a diverse patient population of all ages. - Must demonstrate proven relationship management experience and ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.- Must possess superior customer service and negotiation skills.- Must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.- Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem solving skills.- Must be willing to take initiative and ownership of all job responsibilities with little direction.- Must possess strong organizational skills.- Must demonstrate proactive, service-oriented manner and ability to deal effectively with a diverse and demanding client base.- Must demonstrate ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment in an organized and efficient manner.- Must demonstrate sound judgment and attention to detail while balancing and delivering on a wide range of challenges and tasks.- Must be an assertive self-starter and independent thinker with the ability to work effectively in team environment.- Must demonstrate ability to effectively utilize MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software applications.- Possess a practical working knowledge of IT software and hardware, including applications, computers, and mobile devices.- Must be organized and creative in the educational process.- Must demonstrate patient centered/patient valued behaviors.
