Banner University Medical Group is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to provide support to our Thoracic Surgeons and team. Our PA will be seeing patients in thoracic surgery setting Monday-Friday, providing clinical coordination and triage. Our PA will write orders regarding admissions, consults, discharge and general management of CT patients. Experience performing procedures and assist surgeons on the floor and in the OR as necessary. Endoscopic vein harvesting skill is preferred.
Work Schedule: Full-time. M-F, 10-6, with possible need for flexibility
Patient Volumes: 15 patients per day
As a Physician Assistant, this position is involved in clinical management of patients, performance of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescription of medications, education, consultation, and research. This position requires working closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care. The individual applying should be highly motivated and have the desire to be part of a team that seeks to improve patient care and their experience by upholding the Banner pillars of “People Above All, Excellence, and Results”. - Current Board Certification
- Current Arizona License
- Critical Care training and experience
- Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS.
- Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance.
