Desert Regional Medical Center, located in beautiful Palm Springs, California is a 385 bed, Level II Trauma Center that serves a catchment area of approximately 800,000 people. Due to community need and a strong demand, we are seeking another Sports Fellowship Trained Orthopedic Surgeon. A general ortho call rotation of 1:4 is expected. This opportunity provides the option to be employed through a health system medical group or an income guarantee package to be set up in a hospital-based clinic private practice model.
Palm Springs is located in Southern California’s Coachella Valley, just a couple of hours from Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County and the Ski Resorts of Big Bear Mountain. This beautiful sun drenched desert community with its soaring palm trees and picturesque mountains provides a perfect atmosphere in which to live, visit, work and play. Year-round sunshine promotes a variety of outdoor activities but there is also an abundance of amenities including theater, world-class restaurants and shopping, professional sports, entertainment and cultural venues. For families, there is also strong public and private school system along with local University of California and California State extensions.
