Job Description

Multi-clinic Occupational Medicine Practice seeks additional BE/BC primary care (FP, IM, ER, urgent care), or Occupational Medicine physician for well established practice in Central Illinois.

Come join our team in our busy and growing business and join in our success providing the medical care for the workers and employers in downstate, Central Illinois!  Our Clinic is the local leader in Occupational Medicine and resource for numerous Central Illinois Companies.  The cities served have major Universities and professional minor league sports teams of baseball and hockey.  Recreational activities abound with world class hunting and fishing and water sports.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee medical and health service activities and personnel 
  • Plan and coordinate health services including physical exams, worker illness and injuries, and work related urgent care
  • Work collaboratively with staff to implement appropriate healthcare programs
  • Establish and enforce healthcare policies and procedures

?Qualifications:

  • Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills are needed.
  • Assessment and treatment of injuries with basic sutures and foreign body evaluation is required.
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • The position involves Medical Review Officer (MRO) duties and FMCSA (DOT) medical examiner duties.

Salary and Benefits:

  • The position includes a competitive base salary commensurate with experience. Benefits included;  paid malpractice, CME days and stipend, Paid holidays and vacation weeks, Health Insurance, Dental insurance, 401K.
