Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed with lucrative compensation package and a NEW ED opening January 2025
We have an exciting APP opportunity to join our talented & stable ED team at UK King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY! Join our team and experience a superb work/life balance with a rare schedule that only has 12 hour shifts.
A NEW ED with 75 exam rooms is officially under construction and aiming for an early 2025 opening
Position Profile:
- 65,000 annual ED volume
- 52 beds (all private), with 49 main, 2 Trauma, & 1 Psych
- Additional 10 bed overflow unit
- Daily APP coverage provided in the Main ED
- APPs work 12 hour shifts and have overlapping shifts
- Excellent physician team provides support and oversight when needed
- EPIC EMR with Scribes
- Stroke Center with 24 hour stroke team
- 24 hour Cath Lab

Qualified Candidates:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of ED experience as NP/PA
