St. Joseph Hospital is seeking a BC/BE adult psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team of physicians and allied health providers.St. Joseph Hospital includes a 31-bed adult acute unit, a 14-bed geriatric, and general psychiatric outpatient practice and an intensive outpatient psychiatric program. St. Joseph Hospital Behavioral Health is located on the campus of St. Joseph Hospital The practice opportunity includes a variety of inpatient and/or outpatient, as well as a consult/liaison service at Lutheran Hospital’s 396 bed tertiary care facility. This is strong demand for the specialty and their is an opportunity to be busy quickly. ADC - Geriatrics 14, Adult - 18 to 20. Call expectation is currently 1:4. Reason for Search: Volume, Growth. Office: On campus in MOB. Multi-specialty Group of 35 : "St. Joseph Medical Group" - 3 adult Psychiatrists and 1 Mid-Level.

Fort Wayne is one of the best places in the country to open a medical practice, according to a Pennsylvania-based firm that estimates small-business values.
Fort Wayne ranked fourth in the latest rankings from BizEquity. Business values are based on what they would be sold for in the open market, said Tom Taulli founder of BizEquity, which released the rankings Friday.
Taulli said 150 cities with populations exceeding 100,000 were evaluated for the study. Indianapolis ranked 15th.
BizEquity’s rankings consider revenue, number of employees, local economic environment and market share. The firm doesn’t consider medical practices valued at more than $10 million, Taulli said.
