A world-renowned tertiary medical center north of Boston is adding a Neuropathologist. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Medical Center is seeking an AP or AP/CP, board-certified, anatomic pathologist with subspecialty training and experience in neuropathology.
Opportunity
- Team of 12 surgical pathologists with a wide range of subspecialty expertise
- Responsibilities include sign-out of a wide range of neoplastic and non-neoplastic brain biopsies, participating in frozen section and intraoperative consultation for very specialized neurosurgical oncology procedures, performing post-mortem brain examination, including evaluation for various neurodegenerative disorders
- Known for cutting-edge research and innovative technology
- 347-bed hospital with level 1 trauma center and more than 500 physicians
- UMass affiliation
