Job Description:

Seeking Full and Part-Time Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital located in Port Charlotte, FL. Physicians must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine through American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American ­Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM).

Qualified Candidates:

• ED Volume: 35,000
• ED Beds: 20
• Current ED Coverage: 24 hours of physician coverage & 15 hours of APP coverage per day
• Independent Contractor Status
• P-Doc Documentation System, ED Ultrasound and fully integrated PACS system
• ED Physicians do NOT write Admitting Orders
• Meditech with M*Modal Dictation
• 36 hours of daily physician coverage and 24 hours of daily APP coverage
