Job Description

Faculty position employed by the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, practicing in UT Health East Texas facilities.

UT Tyler School of Medicine - UT Health Science Center Internal Medicine Continuity Clinic (Tyler Family Circle of Care) located in Tyler, TX, is searching for a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician for a 100% faculty resident preceptor position.

Experience teaching or precepting residents strongly preferred.

About the Position:

  • Join a team of teaching faculty
  • 60 Internal Medicine Residents in the program
  • Full-time, Outpatient-Only Faculty Position
  • Teach up to 11 residents/day
  • Administrative Time
  • 1:6 back-up resident call coverage
  • MA Support: 1 MA for every 2 residents
  • Access to Lab, pharmacy, behavioral health specialist, community health worker, etc.
  • Virtual translation service for ipad or phone
  • Growing academic program w/ the addition of a new medical school in 2023
  • Epic EMR

About UT Tyler School of Medicine:

The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is the first medical school in East Texas and the seventh in The University of Texas System.
