HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, providing the highest level of surgical care at the hospital’s Heart, Lung and Vascular Center. The scope of practice for this position includes all aspects of adult cardiothoracic and vascular surgery:

Coronary artery bypass surgery
Minimal invasive valve surgery
Comprehensive Structural Heart including TAVR, MitraClip (TEER) and MViV
Broad spectrum of minimally invasive lung surgeries utilizing VATS and da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system.

Qualified Candidates:

Board certified in Thoracic Surgery
Surgeon with experience and interest in adult cardiac, thoracic, structural heart and minimal invasive robotic surgical techniques

The Heart, Lung and Vascular Center at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is a well-established and respected practice providing the highest quality of surgical care to the residents of Citrus County for the past 20 years.
Our comprehensive cardiovascular and thoracic programs are supported by 6 interventional cardiologists, 3 electrophysiologists, 1 invasive cardiologist and 8 non-invasive cardiologists, in addition to Graduate Medical Education (GME) training and fellowship programs for cardiology, pulmonology and other specialties.
Our Cardiovascular and EP Labs perform a full array of interventional coronary and peripheral vascular procedures including Inari and Penumbra for pulmonary embolism and peripheral vascular care. Electrophysiology services include CRM devices, SVT, V-Tach and A-Fib Ablations with Convergence launching in the near future. Our Structural Heart program provides TAVR, TEER, LAAO and MViV procedures.
