EM Physician opportunity in Amarillo, Texas

NES Health seeks a Emergency Medicine Physician to join our practice at Northwest Emergency on Georgia located in Amarillo, Texas. 

About the Facility 

• Freestanding ED affiliated with Northwest Texas Health System 

• Ambulance Receiving  

• Dedicated Ambulance for admission transfers 

• Cerner EMR with Dragon Dictation 

Coverage includes:? 

• CT 24/7 

• Xray 24/7 

• Bedside Ultrasound 24/7 

• Access to Northwest Texas Health’s coverage 

About the Program and Hours 

• 9 bed ED  

• 26,280 Annual Visit ED 

• 4% admission rate from the ED 

• APPs see patients in the RME role and in Fast Track.  APPs don’t see Main Side Pts. 

• 12 hour ED Physician shifts (6a-6p, 6p-6a) 

• 12 hour ED APP shift (10a-10p) 

Qualifications 

• Active Texas license in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license 

• Active Texas DEA 

• Candidate Must be EM BE/BC or FM BC with EM experience  

• If EM BE or FM BE/BC, must have active BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS.
