EM Physician opportunity in Putnam, CT

NES Health seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our practice at Day Kimball Hospital located in Putnam, Connecticut. 

About the Hospital 

• 39 Bed Community Hospital  

• Part of Covenant Health 

• Inteleviewer EMR 

Coverage includes:? 

• Radiology and Teleradiology at night? 

• Interventional Radiology (during the day)? 

• Stroke Center (send out TPA and thrombectomy candidates)? 

• Anesthesiology (during the day)? 

• Ultrasound (during the day)? 

• OB/Gyn?? 

• Hospitalist? 

• ENT? 

• Cardiology? 

• Neurology (tele-neurology)? 

• ICU (2 beds) 

• Psychology (6 beds) 

About the Program and Hours 

• 25 Bed ED 

• 24,000 annual ED visits  

• 20% admission rate from the ED 

• 12 hour Physician shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a) 

• 12 hour APP shifts (11a-11p) 

Qualifications 

• Active Connecticut license in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license 

• Candidate Must be BE/BC in EM or FM 

• Active ATLS, ACLS, and PALS
