TeamHealth is looking for academic hospitalists to join the team at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina, as the academic team is expanding in July 2023. The core teaching faculty will be 7-on/7-off clinical rounding with residents. There is an expectation to occasionally provide lectures to residents on Wednesday half-day didactics. Participation/attendance at resident educational activities, journal clubs, and morning reports is expected. Procedures aren't required and the hospital provides full specialty support. We are looking to bring on academic hospitalists in 2022 to start clinically, then fully transition to core teaching July 2023.
