Community: Clovis is in eastern New Mexico with 330 days of sunshine! We do get a bit of snow during the winters 2-3 times a?year. Our community has a population of around 40,000 people as well as a very busy Air Force Special Ops base 10?miles away. The next biggest cities would be Lubbock, TX, and Amarillo, TX, each 90 miles away with international?airports. Clovis does have a small airport providing direct service to DFW.
