Psychologist, Faculty - Psychiatry Residency Program
Yuma Regional Medical Center is seeking a Psychologist to join as Faculty for our new Psychiatry Residency program.

About Our Programs
- Accredited Family Medicine Residency Program that began in July 2013. Our unique, 3-year program has been granted the highest level of accreditation a residency program can achieve by the ACGME.
- Twenty Seven (27) residents are currently in the program; 9 per class per year. Plans to expand to thirty-six (36) FM residents total.
- Sports Medicine Fellowship Program began July 2020 and recently graduated its third fellow in June 2023.
- Embarking on a new Psychiatry Residency with our first 4 residents to start July 1, 2025.
- Affiliation and academic support from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Midwestern University and Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale.
- YRMC is fully engaged as a clinical partner in the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
About the Position:
- Hospital employed; full-time position
- Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Collaborative GME team of providers, coordinators and family medicine clinic staff
- Attractive compensation package (base salary plus wRVU productivity compensation)
- Eligible for an annual quality bonus, additional 5% of base salary

Requirements:
- 3 years’ experience in psychology is preferred; however new grads are welcome/eligible to apply.
- Residency program leadership or faculty experience is preferred, but not required.
- Must be American Board Certified or eligible.

Our 406-bed acute care facility provides medical resources for the warm and friendly community of Yuma, as well as surrounding communities. YRMC offers modern facilities, including a 42 bed ICU with full-time Intensivist coverage, a comprehensive Women and Children Services Center featuring comfortable, private single-room birthing; a Level 2 EQ neonatal ICU; and a 24 bed Pediatric/Women's unit.
Our full service Heart Center includes 24 hour, 7 day coverage of Interventional Cardiology services, Cardiac Surgery, Cardiac Electrophysiology and has recently started a successful TAVR program. Outpatient Family Medicine and Specialty Clinics, as well as an Outpatient Surgery Center also are part of our campus, as well as an established Family Medicine residency program.
