Emergency Medicine Medical Director in Anacortes, Washington

TeamHealth is looking for a full-time emergency medicine (EM) medical director to lead our team at Island Health in beautiful Anacortes, Washington -a location with amazing views of the water and an abundance of outdoor activities. As the leader of this department, you will report directly to the regional medical director and vice president of operations and will be responsible for the oversight of a growing team of clinicians and advanced practice clinicians. You will also be responsible for developing and sustaining relationships, impacting clinical strategies and workflows that promote practice, patient satisfaction and improve value-based healthcare delivery.

You can be either ABEM or ABFM board certified. A minimum of one year of emergency medicine leadership experience is required for all applicants. In this role you will oversee 8 clinicians. Island Health is a 43-bed facility. The EMR is Meditech. Island Health has a 13-bed ED with 17,000 annual ED volume. You will work with an outstanding and stable team of physicians and experienced group of advanced practice clinicians.

Competitive compensation, with an estimated range of $205 to $225 per hour with the opportunity to earn productivity and quality incentives. Generous and competitive monthly medical director stipend.
