Regional Medical Center in South Texas has been serving Val Verde County for over 60 years. An established orthopedic surgery hospital-employed practice is seeking a replacement for a retiring part-time orthopedic surgeon. The new physician will be able to ramp up quickly.

Opportunity

• There is no other competition in the area
• About 25 referring physicians
• Covers In-Patient, Out-Patient, and call
• Work out of one clinic located in the hospital
• Clinic hours: 8 am-5 pm Monday-Thursday and 8 am-12 pm Friday
• Surgery uses block scheduling
• Surgery Blocks: Monday 0800-1530
• Average of 15 patients in the clinic daily
• Average of 3-5 cases in OR

Compensation

• Sign-on Bonus: $25,000
• CME days: 5
• CME compensation: $5,000
• Relocation compensation: $10,000
• Quality bonus: 10% of base salary
• Productivity bonus paid quarterly
• PTO: 31 days
