Job Description

The School of Nursing at the University of Texas at Tyler is searching for an experienced nurse practitioner to serve as a full-time, non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with its nationally-recognized online graduate nursing program and prestigious BSN program.

 

Requirements:

  • DNP or PhD in Nursing w/ expertise in psychiatric mental health care across lifespan
  • APRN license w/ PMHNP certification
     

About Your Work:

  • Enjoy both academic and clinical work
  • 60% Teaching/40% clinical practice in affiliated health system during academic year
  • 100% clinical appointment when school is not in session
  • Primary focus is adolescent mental health w/ coverage in the adult outpatient clinic
  • Mentor and advise students
