Matrix Providers is hiring a Psychometrist (Psychometrician) to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families at the Naval Health Clinic in Annapolis, MD.

• Full time: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
• Compensation: $29.10 per hour

Psychometrist Core Job Duties:

• Perform assigned assessment procedures under the direct supervision of a credentialed privileged psychologist or neuropsychologist.
• Utilize therapeutic assessment and interview skills to elicit an accurate and concise account of the patient's condition.
• Screen patients to determine presenting problems and the priority of the appointment.
• Perform basic assessment procedures, including initial screening evaluation and standardized neuropsychological testing. Assist credentialed providers with identifying mental health diagnoses and treatment strategies and providing patient education.
• Explain and interpret neuropsychological services and procedures to access care to patients and commands. Assist in or arrange for patient referral to other facilities for alternate levels of care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, or in a behavioral science-related field from an accredited college or university and have 12 months of full-time experience in the performance of neuropsychological testing and test scoring within the preceding 36 months.

• Experience: Possess a minimum of one year experience within the preceding two years as a Psychometrist in a clinical setting.

Or have the following:

• Certification: Current certification as a Psychometrist (Certified Specialist in Psychometry) from the Board of Certified Psychometrists (BCP)
