NES Health seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our practice at Saint Michael’s Medical Center located in Newark, New Jersey. 

About the Hospital 

• 100 Bed Community Hospital 

• Teaching Hospital 

• EPIC EMR 

Coverage includes:? 

• Radiology during the day and telerad at night? 

• Interventional Radiology? 

• Psychiatry? 

• Anesthesiology?? 

• Line Service? 

• Ultrasound?? 

• GYN (no OB)? 

• Hospitalist? 

• ENT? 

• Cardiology? 

• Neurology (9-5 M-F, not on Weekends)? 

About the Program and Hours 

• 29 Bed Emergency Department 

• 38,000 Annual Visit ED 

• 15% admission rate from the ED  

• EMPs: 7a-7p and 7p-7a Sun – Sat; plus 1p-9p Mon 

• EM APPs: 7a-7p and 10a-10p Sun – Sat; plus 3p-2a Mon-Fri 

Qualifications 

• Active New Jersey license in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license 

• Candidate Must be BE/BC in EM 

• Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and/or PALS
