Job Summary:
Seeking a Fellowship trained Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our practice at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville.Opportunity Highlights/Qualified Candidates:
- Model consists of 12 Physician Anesthesiologists and 28 CRNAs using a care team model with 20 sites of service and approximately 18,000 total cases per year.
- Physician will be part of a 5 Cardiac Anesthesia MD team Diverse case mix including general, trauma, endo, ortho, OB, GYN, neuro, spine, cardiac, vascular, bariatric, robotic, etc.
- Must be Anesthesia boarded, cardiac trained and TEE certified or willing to obtain certification and licensed or licensable in Florida
- Call burden: 5 CV day shifts /month. 1 weekend call shift/month, 7a-7p beeper (unrestricted), no overnight call burden.
- Cardiac responsibilities include all open heart cases, ECMO, TAVRs and MitraClips.
- Per heart surgeon 325 open heart cases, 75+ TAVR, 50 mitraclips
- Yearly CME stipend
- 10 weeks’ Time away from Practice

- 454 bed, acute care medical facility
- Certified Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center
