Are you an experienced leader who aims to make a difference in the lives of your patients and team? Piedmont Redmond Regional Medical Center has a rewarding career opportunity for an emergency medicine (EM) medical director. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical management of the emergency department including collaboration with the hospital's C suite and TeamHealth's senior leadership team.
This Level III, 25-bed emergency department has an annual ED volume of 36k. There are 36 hours of physician and 24 hours of APC coverage daily. Redmond Regional is a busy community hospital with an admission rate of approximately 25%. Pediatrics patients are also treated in the emergency department. Epic EMR is utilized.
Redmond Regional is approximately 76 miles from Chattanooga, Tennessee, and 70 miles from Atlanta, Georgia. The hospital also has a nationally recognized top cardiac care center.
