Endocrinology Opportunity with Established Private Practice in Sunny El Paso!
TTUHSC El Paso - Transmountain and Tenet Healthcare have collaborated on the development of a new set of clinical and educational programs, designed to educate medical students, nursing students and resident physicians; to include (10-10-10) Internal Medicine, (6-6-6) Family Medicine and (4-4-4) Psychiatry program. The facilities are designed to serve the healthcare needs of El Paso and Southern New Mexico, while also providing a world-class training site for up to 100 medical residents across a multi-year program.
The ideal candidate must:
- Have a passion for ambulatory care and teaching

- Teaching, both didactic and clinical
- Quality improvement
- Conducting scholarly projects
The position requires:
- M.D. / D.O.
- Licensed in Texas or eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Texas
- Completion of an ACGME approved Internal Medicine residency program
- Completion of an ACGME approved Endocrinology fellowship program
- BC or BE by the American Board of Internal Medicine

Indeed, The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus will create more than 300 jobs with a median income of $45,000.
Even more, the 106-bed facility will establish a world-class training site for the area’s future health care professionals, positioning El Paso as a regional health care hub. The new Residency programs will begin in the year 2020 and will ultimately create up to 75 new Residency slots- a critical step towards the development and retention of physicians in our community. More specifically, this hospital, through its partnership with TTUHSC El Paso, will enhance educational training in specialties such as family medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, and surgery.
