Internal Medicine Job In Connecticut
Primary Care Physician
Austin Major Group is looking for a Primary Care Physician for an assignment in beautiful Connecticut.
Experience Desired:
- 2 years of experience in Internal Medicine and/or Family Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- CT License
- DEA Certification
- ACLS and BLS Certification
Scope of Work Assignment:
- Monday - Friday, 8a-5p (Flexible shift options for the right candidate)
- Opportunity to float between two locations
Details:
- 1:1 Dedicated Support
- No Pediatric Duties
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review patient files/records, including allergies, problems, medications, and immunization status.
- Elicit and record information about the patient’s medical history.
- Examine patients for symptoms or physical information.
- Order or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on the patient's condition.
- Analyze reports and findings of tests and examinations and diagnose the patient's condition.
- Administer or prescribe treatments.
- Determine and prescribe medication, dosage, and schedule based on the patient’s condition and allergies.
- Discuss any possible side effects of medication or immunization with the patient.
- Prescribe vaccinations to immunize patients from communicable diseases.
- Promote health by advising patients about diet, hygiene, and methods for the prevention of disease.
