About Good Samaritan Hospital

Good Samaritan (Good Sam) Hospital: acute care 429-bed hospital serving San Jose, Silicon Valley and surrounding counties in two locations: main campus in San Jose and Mission Oaks campus in Los Gatos. Good Samaritan provides tertiary services including cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, cancer treatment, advanced obstetrics/gynecology, in-patient and outpatient psychiatric services, in-patient rehabilitation, JCAHO-certified Primary Stroke Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, behavioral health and specialized surgery. Outpatient services include same day surgery, diagnostic imaging, cardiology, clinical laboratory, radiation oncology and the BreastCare Center. Readers of Bay Area Parent magazine chose Good Sam as "Bay Area's Best Place to Have a Baby" and "Family Favorite Hospital" for 10 consecutive years. Acute Rehabilitation Program is the only Silicon Valley hospital with a CARF accreditation specifically for stroke.
