Full service Urgent/Primary care facility in Stafford Virginia has a great opportunity for a highly trained, energetic Nurse Practitioner to join a busy practice.   This facility provides expedient immediate care and comprehensive primary care services to residents in Stafford, Fredricksburg and other nearby communities This is a full OR part-time position and a great salary awaits the right candidate. Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Self-directed individuals with strong problem-solving skills will thrive here! Candidates with previous experience as a physician assistant highly preferred, but new graduates can also be considered. Other highlights of the position include: SALARY & HOURS $100K- $140K for full time, depending on experience and skill set20 HRS PART-TIME, 40 HRS FULL-TIME BENEFITS

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

• Current registration with the Medical Licensing Board of Virginia and current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Nurse Practitioners 
• Requires current CPR certification.
• Requires professional knowledge and application skills for patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Requires ability to educate and counsel patients and families on medications; diseases; treatment plans; procedures; and preventive health care.
• Candidates need to have a master's degree or greater. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing training program.
