Hospitalist Needed in South Carolina
Job Description: Our client healthcare facility in South Carolina is currently seeking Locum Tenens coverage by a skilled and dedicated Hospitalist. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified physician to make a meaningful impact on patient care in a dynamic medical environment.
Assignment Details:
- Hours: 12 pm - 12 am
- Responsibilities:
- Primarily responsible for covering Admissions
- Intubation is preferred; however, candidates must be comfortable with an open ICU and capable of managing critical situations such as pressors, insulin drip, sedation for vent, and etoh withdrawal.
- Must respond to code blues
- EMR: EPIC
- Average Admissions: 8 (12 pm - 12 am)
Dates Available: December 20-26 (12 pm - 12 am)
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree and completion of residency in Internal Medicine or related field
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine
- Active medical license in the state of South Carolina
- Proven experience as a Hospitalist or in a similar role
- Proficient in intubation and comfortable managing complex medical cases
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
