Neurosurgery Opportunity
Job Opening: Neurosurgeon
Location: Michigan
Hospital/Facility: Level 2 Trauma Center
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Responsibilities:
- Join a dynamic Neurosurgery team in a Level 2 Trauma Center.
- Manage a high-volume practice with 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient responsibilities.
- Handle a diverse case load with 90% adult and 10% pediatric patients.
- See an average of 20-25 patients per day in the clinic, including approximately 5 new patients.
- Benefit from dedicated OR block time with state-of-the-art equipment and a specialized Neurosurgery OR team (2 days OR/3 days clinic).
- Work in a facility with a dedicated neuro-intensive care unit, stroke unit, and on-site neurosurgical services.
Procedures:
- Perform spine surgeries (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar) including Fusion and Decompression procedures.
- Conduct Kyphoplasty and Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) Implant procedures.
- Execute Craniectomy/Plasty and Shunt Placement surgeries.
Call Schedule:
- 1:4 call rotation.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS).
- Open to new graduates.
