Locum Tenens Full-Time Psychiatrist - Inpatient Services
About the Facility: A leading Behavioral Health Facility located in Pennsylvania, committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals experiencing serious behavioral health crises. The 24-bed inpatient unit is dedicated to addressing a range of conditions, including severe depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and other serious mental health disorders. The facility offers a holistic approach to care, combining medication management, group and individual counseling, as well as electroconvulsive therapy. In addition to inpatient services, outpatient therapy services are provided to support the community's mental health needs.
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Psychiatrist to join the team as a full-time member, providing inpatient adult psychiatric services. As a key member of the clinical team, you will play a crucial role in delivering evidence-based treatments and measurement-based care to individuals in need.
Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient psychiatric services to adults experiencing severe behavioral health crises.
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and case conferences.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our behavioral health service models.
Qualifications:
- Board-eligible/certified Psychiatrist.
- Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania before employment.
- DEA and CPR Certification required before employment.
