A rural, 25-bed community hospital in rural Maine that provides care to more than 30,000 residents has an opening for a Radiologist.
About the Opportunity
- Joining 1 employed Radiologist and currently 2 contracted Radiologists
- Must be comfortable reading all diagnostic modalities, including mammo, and perform basic interventional radiology (arthrograms, breast biopsies)
- The schedule is Monday through Friday, with some flexibility
- No nights, weekends, or holidays
- Expect to read 70-90 cases daily
- Fuji PACS - RIS System
- Powerscribe Dictation
- All equipment is digital and up-to-date
- Employed position with a high base salary and full benefits package
Community/Location
- Located along the Kennebec River in the rolling hills of southern Somerset County
- Area recreational venues include white water rafting, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and trout fishing.
- Nearby communities provide arts, theatre, gyms, children?s programs, prestigious liberal arts colleges, unique restaurants, and highly rated schools.
- Just one hour from Bangor, 90 minutes to Portland, 3.5 hours to Boston, and 3 hours to Quebec, Canada
