Family Practice Without OB
- Specialty: Family Practice
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- Contract Length: 3 months, possibility to extend
- Shift Details: 8a-5p, 40hrs/week. 8 hour work day with 1 hour unpaid lunch.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: FT. 40hrs/week.
- Outpatient ambulatory setting- Community Health Center
- Patients per day: Will be scheduled to see up to 21 patients. May be less depending on cancellations, etc, but should be comfortable with higher volume and fast paced.
- Patient Population/Age: Newborns-Geriatrics. Provider should be comfortable working with all ages.
- Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures. Injections, IUD placement, minor wound care.
- Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator they will submit timecards to.
- Department Description: Community Health Center. Providers must have experience in these settings or express interest to work with vulnerable populations. They service migrants and refugees and have interpretative services available on site. Provider is not required to be bilingual, but would be a plus.
- EMR: EPIC
- Skills Required: Expected to hit ground running. Will be a 1 week ramp up with onsite orientation but will be expected to begin patient care by day 3.
- Board Certification: BC or BE
- License Required: Active WA license required. Will not consider non-licensed candidates
- DEA: Active WA DEA required
- Minimum Experience Required: MUST have clean background. No malpractice will be considered.
- Credentialing Timeframe: 2-4 weeks
- $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
