HCA Midwest Health is searching for neurohospitalists to join a vendor-based, exclusively inpatient practice in Kansas City. Opportunities available in Overland Park, KS, and Independence, MO. Position is based in Johnson County supporting Menorah and Overland Park Regional Medical Centers.Qualified Candidates:
- Vascular/stroke, neurophysiology, neurocritical care, epilepsy fellowship trained or experienced neurohospitalist physicians preferred
- 100% inpatient
- Flexible scheduling; option for 7 on 7 off schedule or 180 shifts annually

- Inpatient Coverage nationally at 12 Denver hospitals, 1 Salt Lake City hospital, 1 Idaho Falls hospital, 3 San Antonio hospitals, and 1 Kansas City hospital. Teleneurology coverage at 250+ hospitals nationwide.
- Mean door-to-needle tPA Time of 18 Minutes.
- Annual stroke volume of over 1500, >30,000 encounters via telemedicine annually.

- HCA Midwest Health Neurosciences Service Line is comprised of 13 neurologists with expertise in movement disorder, clinical neurophysiology, multiple sclerosis, and migraine subspecialties. The neurologists are vital to our care delivery team, focused on the inpatient and outpatient settings, further enhanced by 6+ advanced practice providers and a team of stroke coordinators. The service line also includes 14 neurosurgeons with a variety of subspecialty interests within the context of a general neurosurgery practice.
