**Cardiothoracic Surgery opening in Maine**
Located in Bangor, ME - 129m Portland, ME
* Seeking a BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our busy and growing practice.
* We are a hospital-based program that serves patients from all over the state.
* High volume cardiothoracic surgical practice performing a full range of adult cardiac and non-cardiac thoracic procedures, including an active TAVR program.
* This role would be joining a team of three other Cardiothoracic Surgeons, one non-cardiac Thoracic Surgeon, and seven experienced and highly qualified NPs/PAs who cover first call.
The ideal candidate will specialize primarily in adult cardiac surgery but will have some responsibility for non-cardiac thoracic surgical coverage as well. Applicants must have a medical doctorate from an approved medical college or equivalent, post-graduate training in an ACGME-accredited cardiothoracic surgery training program, and additional training in cardiac surgery. Expertise in TAVR would be valued.
