**Hospitalist Opening in Minnesota**
- Located in ***Brainerd, MN*** - Duluth 110m
- primarily day shift; with Flexibility
- Flexibility to split with outpatient Family Medicine or Internal Medicine if desired
- Primarily day shift with 1:8 week rotation to night shift
- Pay incentive for extra shift(s) and extended week rotations
- Full-time equivalent = 24 weeks/year
- Well-established Hospitalist program and Top 100 Rural Hospital in America
- 162-bed hospital and Level III Trauma Center
- Schedule 7 on 7 off, Tuesday-Monday cycle
- Hospitalists will cover Med/Surg & ICU, including ventilator co-management with intensivist, RT, and remote support from Duluth
- Total number of physicians in specialty currently: 8 and two NPs
- Fully staffed with 10 hospitalists
- Opportunity to teach and precept medical and PA students, and for future program leadership
- Average inpatient practice volume per day: 12-15 encounters per hospitalist.
- Average daily census on the team: 40-60
- Certified Primary Stroke Center, co-management with stroke neurology, growing cardiovascular program, and top-performing sepsis care
- Hospitalist team runs codes and rapid responses
- No procedures required (general surgery performs central lines)
- Excellent compensation package, paid malpractice insurance, relocation, and benefit package
