Seeking Program Director and Associate PD to oversee our Internal Medicine Residency Program in our 5th year.
About:
The Program Director for Internal Medicine has responsibility for oversight of all Internal Medicine Residents and Internal Medicine training provided by the Program. The PD-IM is responsible for insuring compliance with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education's Program Requirements for Graduate Medical Education in Internal Medicine and The American Osteopathic Association's Basic Standards in Internal Medicine.
Looking for in a Candidate:
-Coordination of all Internal Medicine Residency training programs;
-Ensure the completion of all evaluation, quarterly meetings and requirements of the Program for Internal Medicine Residents;
-Manage all applicable affiliation agreements, documents, and correspondence related to Internal Medicine Residency training programs;
-Manage the Internal Review process with the Medical Education Committee (MEC);
-Assist with the preparation of the Core Competency plan;
-Participate in all processes where budgetary resources are reviewed and allocated for Program support;
-Participate as necessary in staff recruitment and community outreach activities or events.
