We're looking for a very specific provider for a rural, critical access hospital. Details Below:
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Patients Per Shift: 8

Level 4 Trauma Facility
**Requirements**
BC/BE

Hospital Stroke Certified
Active AK license
ACLS
PALS
ATLS
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe (Days): 90 Days
Call Type: Beeper Avg Call # per 24 Hr:
Call Response Time Required: 20 Min
Other pertinent details:
We have single provider coverage of the emergency room and hospital patients for our very small critical access hospital. There is only one physician on at a time for 12 hour shifts and also for a back up call for 12 hours (before a day shift and after a night shift) so that they can be called back in for certain traumas or if multiple traumas or critical patients when a second physician maybe needed.
Call back is infrequent.
We do not offer routine obstetrical care or have a labor and delivery department (although we are an emergency room so do have emergency visits).
There is no outpatient clinic associated with the role, it is hospital and emergency department only.
