Health System, a not-for-profit community hospital located in Washington, PA, is seeking a Board Certified Palliative Medicine Physician to join an established palliative/hospice service. This unique opportunity is open to an enthusiastic candidate interested in enhancing a quality palliative medicine program while leading a fellowship training program.

~Inpatient consultation service averaging 8-10 patients per day
~Continue development of outpatient services
~Recruitment of fellowship candidates
~Develop and direct the approved Fellowship in accordance with the general and specialty-specific regulations
~Shared call with up to 4 other providers
Position details:
~Fellowship trained preferred
~Hospice and Palliative Medicine (Board Certified)
~Prefer 2 years post graduate clinical experience
~Teaching experience preferred
~M.D. or D.O.

Located in Washington, Pennsylvania with multiple outpatient sites throughout Washington and Greene counties, Washington Health System has 265 beds in addition to a 16-bassinet nursery and an 8-bed residential hospice. The hospitals medical staff consists of more than 350 of the regions finest primary care and specialty physicians providing a full range of medical and surgical care. Our family-oriented community is comfortably situated in Southwestern Pennsylvania with easy access to Pittsburgh, Ohio, and West Virginia.
